Asking Your Hosting Provider to Whitelist WP Compress

If you’re experiencing issues with WP Compress due to blocked requests, you can send the following message to your hosting provider:

Subject: Request to Whitelist WP Compress for Uninterrupted Service

Dear [Hosting Provider's Support Team],

I am currently using WP Compress, a performance optimization tool for my website. However, I am experiencing issues such as blocked image optimization, invalid access key errors, or delays in Critical CSS generation. It appears these issues may be caused by your server blocking WP Compress requests based on User-Agent or IP restrictions.

To resolve this, I kindly request that you whitelist WP Compress by taking the following steps:

1. Whitelist WP Compress User Agents

Please whitelist the following User Agents:

- WP-Compress/SaaS Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/129.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

- WP-Compress/SaaS Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 17_7 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) CriOS/129.0.6668.69 Mobile/15E148 Safari/604.1

2. Whitelist WP Compress Reverse DNS (rDNS)

Our IPs resolve to rDNS names under api.wpcompress.com. To simplify firewall configuration, please allow traffic from *.wpcompress.com.

3. Whitelist the Following IP Addresses

Please whitelist these IP addresses used by WP Compress:

https://wpcompress.com/ip-list.txt

If you need further details on whitelisting, you can refer to WP Compress’s official documentation here: https://help.wpcompress.com/en-us/article/whitelisting-wp-compress-for-uninterrupted-service-4dwkra/

By performing these steps, WP Compress will be able to communicate seamlessly with my website, ensuring optimal performance.

Thank you for your assistance, and please let me know if you need any additional information.

Best regards,
