What happens if I see incorrect image sizes?
What Should I Do If I See Incorrect Image Sizes?
When calculating the correct responsive image size, we strive to provide pixel-perfect images through careful optimization. However, some themes or plugins may override the new sizing in the srcset attribute as they attempt to implement their own responsive image versions.
In most cases, this should not cause issues. However, if you notice incorrect image sizes, as shown below, you can disable their generated srcset and rely on our pixel-perfect optimization instead.
Solution: Enable "Remove Srcset" in Other Optimizations
To resolve this conflict, simply enable the Remove Srcset option under other optimizations.
This setting will override the theme or plugin srcset, allowing our optimized images to display correctly.
Note: Incorrect image sizes can sometimes be due to theme, plugin, CSS, or other external factors affecting image resizing. If you continue experiencing issues, please reach out to our support team via chat—we’re here to help you get it right!
